Michał Szpak was born on 26th November 1990 in Jasło. At 9 he performed on a real stage for the first time. He received an award in the Young Talents Competition at the Jasło Community Centre.

In 2011 Michał Szpak took part in the X-Factor talent show – he performed a song in the finale together with the British edition’s winner, Aleksandra Burke, who has seen few artists with such vibrant image and innate charisma even in the excellent British market. As a result, he received an additional special award – an invitation to give a concert at the Orange Warsaw Festival, where he performed before, among others, Skunk Anansie and Moby, singing three songs from the repertoire of Red Hot Chili Peppers, Guns’n’Roses and Lenny Kravitz.

In December of 2011 the Artist’s first recording came out – an EP with 5 premiering songs.

In 2013 Michał won the main prize – the Golden Samovar at the Russian Song Festival in Zielona Góra, performing a song known to every generation in Poland – “Dark Eyes
