Madeleine Pettersson – Hunting, Adventure & Storytelling

I’m Madeleine Pettersson – hunter, filmmaker, and founder of Side by Side. For over a decade, I’ve explored wild places from the Scottish Highlands to my home in Sweden, sharing the beauty of ethical hunting and outdoor traditions.

This year I’m joined by my good friend and fellow hunter Calle Gårdman. We’ve known each other for about six years and will be sharing new hunts, adventures, and experiences in the field.

Behind the camera is filmmaker and editor Filip Gustafsson, who I’ve known for more than ten years and who brings strong storytelling to our films.

Through our stories we aim to inspire respect for nature, wildlife, and sustainable living. For us, hunting is more than a sport – it’s about conservation, community, and being part of nature’s cycle.
